There was a minor upset when 11th ranked BritishManchester (1-1) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Slovakian Slovan (1-1) 90-78 on Wednesday. Slovan looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Lester Medford Jr (184-1993, college: Baylor, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds. American swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and forward Tim Adetukasi (198-2001, college: CUI, agency: One Motive Sports) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Manchester's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Slovan left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Manchester and Bristol Flyers.
